Sara Bandy, MS ,PT, ATC | Physical Therapist

I was employed by Shawnee Mission Medical Center from 1998-2001 as a Certified Athletic Trainer, where I supplied medical coverage for Blue Valley High School.  I have been working at Blue Valley Physical Therapy since 2004 and love the diversity of the type of injuries we see. I enjoy the challenge of properly identifying an injured tissue and find it rewarding to see the results of implementing the appropriate exercises for healing to occur. I recently developed a women’s health program for Blue Valley Physical Therapy and we are now able to see patients who may suffer from urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, boating, working out, being outdoors, and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles with my husband.

My Education

• 1996: BA in Athletic Training from MidAmerica Nazarene College
• 2004: MS in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University
