Danielle Boxberger, DPT
Danielle graduated from the University of Kansas Medical Center with her doctorate in physical therapy in 2008. Danielle was a part of the Blue Valley Physical Therapy family from 2008 until 2014. She took a step back for a couple of years to pursue multiple other areas of physical therapy as well as to be able to be with her young kiddos, and is so excited to be back! Danielle enjoys working with people of all ages and diagnoses, specifically with the pediatric and geriatric population. She enjoys the challenge of developing a creative program for young kids that is fun and engaging. She also enjoys the other end of the age spectrum in challenging the older adult to continue living an active lifestyle by increasing fitness levels, restoring mobility, improving balance, improving strength and building self confidence. She believes in treating people with a very functional approach and makes sure to educate patients as to why they are doing what they are doing. She has found great success and follow through when patients truly understand their pathology and the purpose of each exercise in their program. Danielle prides herself on being a great listener and really works to understand her patients needs and goals.
In her free time Danielle enjoys spending time with her 2 kiddos, her husband and dog. She loves to be outdoors and leads a very active lifestyle. She enjoys weight training, kick boxing, cycling, and sports.
