Travis Loyd, DPT
Travis graduated from the University of Saint Mary in May of 2016 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. When Travis was 17, he suffered a severe knee injury playing high school football and that is when he first started down his path to becoming a PT. He suffered two more injuries over the course of the next year and for each one he came to BVPT for rehabilitation. He showed a strong affinity for the profession and started to work at BVPT as a therapy technician when he was 18 and proceeded to work there for the next 7 years until he graduated from PT school. After school, he moved to Colorado and worked as an outpatient PT for the next 3 years. He met his wife there and in 2019 they moved back home to the KC area and he was finally able to join the BVPT as a PT. Travis loves to motivate and encourage his patients to achieve more than they feel capable of. He has a strong background in sports medicine and manual therapy and uses his past experiences to give each patient the best care possible throughout their recovery process. He is now the Clinic Director at the BVPT Woodside location and is eager to continue to grow the clinic and BVPT brand.
When not at work, Travis enjoys playing sports, snowboarding, being outdoors, going to the lake, hunting and fishing, and pretty much anything that involves working on his home with his wife Natalie.
